Magdalen Overview
Detailed Description
Next is the lounge area, two settees one on each side provides seating for relaxing and eating also converting into a large double bed if required. Heating in the lounge is supplied by a neat wood burning stove, which makes Magdalen an ideal boat for a winter break along the Oxford canal and River Thames.
Moving along the boat is the first of the two bathrooms, with shower, washbasin and toilet, both of the boat’s bathrooms are ensuite to the cabins giving privacy to the occupiers. After this is the first of the sleeping cabins, this can be two single beds one on each side of the boat, four singles in bunk bed form, or one double bed. There is ample storage for clothes in both bedrooms. This cabin has a side hatch ideal for feeding swans or ducks.
The second bathroom is next, small but still containing a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Finally we have the second sleeping cabin, in here you have the choice of one double or two singles in bunk beds. When set up as bunks this cabin space is very child friendly with a table and room to play games. Moving outside, the front deck has room for a couple of chairs which we provide.
