Great boat for two, with room for guests…
Going down the rear stairs into the narrowboat, is the rear cabin, where you can have one double or two single beds, one on each side of the boat. There are drawers under the bed and hanging space for clothes. Leading on from this, is the bathroom in which there is a shower, washbasin, flush toilet and storage space for all the necessary things you will need for your canal holiday on the Oxford canal.The living accommodation is open plan and located at the front of the boat. In the well equipped kitchen area is a full size cooker, fridge and ample storage space making it a great space for cooking while on board. The lounge area is comfortable for relaxing and watching TV, all our boats have TVs with a built in DVD player. This part of the narrow boat is also your dining area. The settee will make into a double bed if required, good tip make up the bed before going to the pub! A front door takes you out onto the front deck.

Hertford has 1 double & 2 single beds or 2 double beds, all in their own cabins. We’ve shown some possible layouts below.
All fixed beds are made up to your requirements before your arrival.

What's provided and what to bring
Our boats are well-equipped with most everyday utensils etc. The following is a list of all the things you will find on board your boat. We have tried to provide you with everything we think you will need for your canal holiday. Please let us know if we have missed anything!
Outside your boat you find the following:
2 mooring stakes
2 piling rings
3 ropes [1 each end and 1 in centre]
Hose pipe [for filling water tank]
Opener for water cap and toilet cap
Keys for boat ignition, back door, and British Waterways key, (this is for locked water points, operation of lift bridges)
Set of waterproofs (for lucky person steering in the rain)
On the boat we provide:
Salt and pepper
Washing up liquid
1 toilet roll per bathroom
Picnic blanket (please do not take soft furnishings outside)
In the kitchen you will find:
Kettle with whistle
3 saucepans with lids: small, medium, and large
Non stick saucepan
Stockpot (that can be put in oven for casseroles)
Pizza tray (please do not put pizzas direct on to oven shelves)
Knifes, forks, spoons, teaspoons for each person on board (plus spare)
2 serving spoons
2 sharp knives
General kitchen utensils
Corkscrew and bottle opener
Cereal /pudding bowls
Mugs with saucers
Various serving dishes, all ovenproof
Plastic beakers (for little people)
Teapot, milk jug, and sugar bowl
On your beds we will provide:
Double /single duvet (all hypo-allergenic)
Pillows: 2 each, on double beds (more can be requested)
Mattress protector on each bed
Towels are provided free of charge for overseas customers, and are available for £3 per person for UK bookings (please let us know if you require these when booking).
