Canal holidays aren't only for the height of Summer!
They are great ways to take a break at any time of the year, especially during those darker months when you need
some fresh air most. College Cruises canal holidays are available right through the year so you can get a wonderful canal
holiday when you really need it, and save some money! Off peak canal breaks work
out much cheaper than during the Summer rush!
During the spring, autumn and winter months the canals take on a different feel. Trees
and the countryside changes colour, spiders webs become visible in early morning
sunrises and you can often travel all day without seeing another boat.
And what better way to test the canal cruising water than with a short break (Friday to Monday, or Monday to Friday).

All our boats have central heating and are well insulated. So imagine a cosy boat
at a great price, a good hot meal, an excellent bottle of wine - that's the best way of dealing with the winter blues!
If you don't fancy home cooking, canal-side hostelries provide a warm welcome on chilly autumn and winter evenings.
You can nearly always find a great seat by that pub fire at this time of year!

All of our boats have convenient central heating radiators, and some even have solid fuel stoves to keep you extra cosy on those chilly evenings. And of course all boats have running hot and cold water and showers!
